Web-Kathleen_Santos-3902Ms. Santos joined the McBryde Firm in 2014 and focuses her entire practice on representing property owners at the District Court level in property tax litigation.  Kathleen has successfully represented owners of industrial business personal property, hotels, office buildings and retail centers throughout Texas.

 Kathleen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Special Honors in History and earned her Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School.  At Baylor, Ms. Santos was a recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship and a founding member of Baylor’s Asian Law Student Association.  After law school, Ms. Santos clerked at the Office of General Counsel at both the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Texas Governor’s Office.  Previously, Ms. Santos served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
